What these cover
The hosted service at openartifacts.ai. OpenArtifacts is also open source; if you run your own copy, its license covers you instead of this page.
What the service is
A way to publish an artifact as a webpage anyone with the link can open. It is in early access, which means it changes often and sometimes without notice.
Your content stays yours
Publishing does not transfer ownership. It gives us permission to store your artifact and serve it to people who open its link, which is the entire service. Unshare it and that permission ends.
What not to publish
- Anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to publish.
- Malware, phishing pages, or content built to deceive whoever opens it.
- Other people's private information.
- Anything aimed at attacking the service or the people using it.
We can remove an artifact or close an account that breaks these rules, and we will do it without warning when the content is actively harmful.
What we promise
Little, for now, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Early access carries no uptime guarantee and no promise that a link lasts forever. The service is provided as is, without warranty, and our liability is limited to what you have paid us for it.
Access
An OpenArtifacts account includes three free published documents. Paid plans raise publishing limits; reading needs no account. Access to your agent is separate. Explicitly linking an eligible Copilot for Obsidian licensejoins your document collections. Linked access lasts only for its eligible hosted-access period; linking a Supporter license does not extend that period.
Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge; access continues through the paid period. Cancellation alone does not refund a payment. Canceling OpenArtifacts does not cancel a separate Copilot for Obsidian license subscription.
Lifetime Publisher
Lifetime Publisher has no expiry or renewal. It includes 500 live documents, 100 publishes or updates per UTC day, 10 MiB per HTML upload, and 5 GiB (5,368,709,120 bytes) across retained versions and pending uploads.
At capacity, uploads stop. Pages, history, listing and withdrawal remain available. Unsharing frees space after stored content is removed. We do not automatically delete history.
Lifetime purchases do not reduce valid monthly or linked Copilot access. Cancel monthly renewal at period end in the billing portal first; paid-through access remains. We do not automatically cancel or prorate.
Refunds
For a full refund, contact info@brevilabs.com within 14 days of your initial OpenArtifacts purchase. After that window, payments are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
A full refund removes access supplied by that payment. When requesting a monthly refund, also cancel its renewal in the billing portal. Refunding an older invoice does not cancel a newer paid period. A partial refund retains access. Other valid purchases or eligible linked Copilot for Obsidian license access continue independently. A lost payment dispute removes the access supplied by that payment.
Changes
We will update this page as the service changes, and the date above tells you when we last did. Continuing to use OpenArtifacts means accepting the version you find here.
